Mela Room has two distinct halls (Tasha Hall & Dolce Hall) that can be rented individually.
The entire Mela Room can be opened up as a 
14000 sq ft hall for large events (1000 seated).  
We have pipe & drape available to section off areas. 

*     The TASHA HALL (7500 sq ft) seating for up to 400.
*   
The Dolce Hall (2500 sq ft) for up to 100-125-150 based on set up.
*     The space between both halls (2000 sq ft, for upto 100-125) extends either hall for additional guests (extra price).  
*     The other 2000 sq ft includes restrooms, walkway, storage, food prep area & back exit which is accessible to all.

PRIVATE EVENT PRICING:  

Weekdays

$600/for 6hr ( minimum 6 hours including setup and removal). Additional hours at $100/hr

 

Sundays

$750/for 6 hour ( minimum 6 hours including setup and removal) Additional hours at $125/hr
 

Fridays

$150/hr (up to 10pm) 
$300/hr (after 10pm)
Setup and Removal charges $100/hr 
Minimum rental is 6 hrs

Saturdays & Holidays

$200/hr (up to 9pm)
$400/hr (after 9pm)
Setup and Removal Time Charges are $100/hr. 
Minimum Rental is 6 hrs

Other Charges:
$3.50 per person for tables, chairs, and cleanup.
6.5% sales tax
Options:
$3.00-$3.50 per person for chair covers, sash, linen and basic decorations
$50/projector/screen
$50/sound system

BOOKING/PAYMENT INFO

 

How do I BOOK the hall or RESERVE MY DATE?  

1. Check the availability and rate.
2. 50% payment is due to hold your date.  We only accept check, cash or Money Order. No credit/debit cards accepted.
3. The final 50% payment plus tax is due 1 week prior to event. 
*For events more than 4 months away, you can book with 25% down, 25% following month, remaining payment due one week prior to the event.

What is included in the Hall Rental?

-  One person  for setup and  during the event ("Go To" Person)

-  Ability to bring your own food and soft drinks

-  Stage / Dance Floor / Sound Activated lighting-  Wire Chafing Racks for Disposable Food Trays

-  Use of Prep Kitchen/Food Warmers

-  Ice and Barrels for Drinks( upto 100lbs for Dolce Hall/200lbs for Tasha Hall)

-  Use of Bar and Coolers

-  Free Parking for up to 400 cars

-  Cleanup after the event(Cleanup fee applies)


What is Not Included in the Hall Rental?

-  Tables are $1 per person (ex.  One table for 8 guests  = $8)

-  Chairs are $1.50 per person  (you can bring your own if you choose)

-  Linen, Chair Covers & Sashes (installed) are available for $3.50 pp through Mela Room or can be rented from an outside vendor

-  Pipe and Drapes can be rented from Mela Room at $1/ft. to drape off any area

-  LED Uplights of different colors can be rented for $10/uplight

-  Decorations (not provided, you can bring your own)

-  Supplies (cups, dishes, forks, knives, serving spoons, paper towels, napkins etc.)

-  Bartenders (our insurance does not allow us to serve, however you can hire/bring one or we can refer one)

-  D.J. (D.J. Services are available for $50 to $200 or you can bring your own music to play on our system)

-  Use of DJ Quality Sound System ($50 fee applies)

-  Use of projectors for your photos and videos ($50 projector fee applies)

-  Security / Bouncers (Not Required for Private Parties, but available if needed)

   (Charges:  $75 per night for Bouncers or $30-$40 per hr for off duty police officers)

 

FOR ALL PRIVATE EVENTS:
We can offer anytime needed.  We can remain open 24 hours, however consumption of alcoholic beverages ends at 2am in Orange County.  


We work with any and all of your event coordinator/designer/caterer for setup and removal, we charge 5-10% of your contract price with them to facilitate. Prices vary upon the amount of decorations/setup and what is required to be done for the event. We need to have a copy of  your contract and  the items brought into the premises one week prior to the event.

ALCOHOL ISSUE Mela Room does not have an alcohol license, which means outside alcohol can be brought into the premises for consumption.  Any alcohol brought into the premises for private party for consumption has to be served in conjunction with food and must be done by licensed personnel only.  They/You are allowed to purchase alcohol from retail outlets.  All alcohol laws regarding age restrictions and serving times are strictly followed.  If you have any questions regarding your options for a private party, please call Division of Alcohol Beverage Dept at 4072450780 to confirm.

PUBLIC EVENTS:  

Mela Room 14,000sq ft entire space, 1000 seated with tables, 1500 seated classroom style or 2000 auditorium/standing.
All public events are defined as events, where people are charged at the door or they prepay to attend the event or people pay for food and drinks inside the premises.  All the proceeds of the event including food, door and drinks are kept by the promoter/caterer.  You can bring your own or we can give you names of licensed caterers.  However, we cannot be involved in your agreement with the caterer.  Any alcohol /food sold at public event must be provided by a licensed caterer / liquor vendor only, in line with DBPR rules and regulations.  If your organization is eligible for 1/2/3 day temporary liquor license, then your organization can get the license from Division of alcoholic Beverages in Orlando for $25 only.  Please call 4072450780 for details.
